Despite being Jordanian, I've grown so attached to Libya. I long for it. The years I spent there. I spent 15 years there and every place I visited or stayed at, took a bit of my heart with it. Regatta is probably my favorite though. I have a lot of memories there. Good. Bad. I loved the beach. It was my go-to place. Whenever I wanted to get away from anything, I'd put on my skates and go straight there. I loved the days I used to go to it with my friends. We would collect shells and put them in our memory box. Regatta had a little bit of everything and as a 15 year old, I was more than satisfied with what I got. I remember the walks I had with my friends. The trick or treating we did and the costumes we wore. I remember the time I fell of my roller blade and broke my arm. You see Regatta is filled with my memories. I wish to go back one day. To Regatta, to Libya. . I miss Caracalla and haroon, they were yummy, probably one of my favorite munching places. Five years later and I still miss every bit of it.
